Honduras

Located north of El Salvador and the initial training site, Honduras continues to support safe health initiatives with 8.7% of the total GDP expenditure on health.¹

Following the trainer-of-trainers workshop in February 2019 in El Salvador participants returned home to Honduras and in March 2019, the hospital Mario Catarino Rivas in San Pedro Sula held a “Safer Surgical Instruments” workshop for 25 operating room nurses and sterilization room technicians.
